# Imagine Films > AI creative video suite for multimarket companies. The standard travels: judgement is installed before the first film is made, so it arrives intact at the four hundredth — in every market, format and entity. Every output carries its credit and states whether it is provenance-marked. The published refusals are at /standard. Film generation for three audiences: social and e-commerce sellers, corporate training and education, and high-value property. ## For agents This page is designed to be operated by software as well as by people. The tool list below is the same declaration the interface renders — there is one source, so the human affordance and the machine affordance cannot disagree. MCP endpoint: https://maxwellfilms.com/mcp Transport: streamable-http Version: 1.0.0 The endpoint is live and answers JSON-RPC over HTTP POST. It is stateless — no session id, no event stream. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http imagine-films https://maxwellfilms.com/mcp Claude chat: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the URL above. No plugin is required. ## Insights tools Imagine Films keeps a database of high-performing short-form social video — metrics, creator baselines, transcripts and hooks — built for marketing research. Every row carries a source URL and the time it was captured, so it can be cited rather than paraphrased. The tools below marked *public* answer without an account. Those marked *account* do live lookups or generate film, need an OAuth connection, and spend credits. Every tool is listed to an anonymous caller either way. - **complete_plan** (account) — Carry out a plan. - **create_execution_plan** (account) — Write the plan that would close the gap, and what each item would cost. - **evaluate_against_goal** (account) — Judge whether the film now does what was asked. - **read_records** (account) — What has gone wrong on a film: what Maxwell claimed against what was actually there, and anything you have told it. - **read_turn** (account) — Where Maxwell has got to: what it understood, the gap it found, the plan and its clashes, which tasks are done and which are not, what it has spent, and which version the film is on. - **read_video_reading** (account) — What Maxwell saw when it watched: the shots in order, the words on screen, the concerns, and what was heard. - **record_mistakes_and_improvements** (account) — Tell Maxwell what is wrong — with a film, or with what Maxwell itself did. - **understand_goal_gap** (account) — Work out the distance between the film as it is and what you asked for. - **understand_human** (account) — Start Maxwell on a change to a film. - **understand_video** (account) — Watch a film and say what is actually on the screen — shots, what changes, words you could read, where the eye goes, and anything genuinely wrong like a blank stretch or text off the edge. - **create_collection** (account) — Start a new collection. - **file_inspiration** (account) — Put a video the organisation has already kept into a collection. - **forget_inspiration** (account) — Take a kept video off the organisation's shelf entirely, and out of every collection it was filed in. - **keep_inspiration** (account) — Keep a video somebody else made, so it can be found again and built from. - **list_collections** (account) — The organisation's collections of kept videos — name, what the collection is for, how many are in it, and a few covers. - **rename_collection** (account) — Rename a collection, and optionally rewrite what it is for. - **unfile_inspiration** (account) — Take a video out of a collection. - **compose_film** (account) — Generate a film from a written description. - **get_creator_profile** (public) — A creator's baseline — followers, average likes — and their strongest recent videos, so a single video can be judged against their normal. - **get_generation** (account) — Status and output URLs for one generation, by request_id. - **get_trending_snapshot** (public) — The current curated trending snapshot: top videos ranked by how far each travelled past its own creator's usual reach, with the time the snapshot was captured. - **get_video_insight** (public) — Metrics, reach and hook for one video already in the database, by URL. - **list_films** (account) — Recent generations for your organisation. - **list_insight_coverage** (public) — What this database covers: platforms, how many videos, and how fresh the newest capture is. - **research_creator** (account) — Pull a creator's recent post history live and add it to the corpus, so their videos can be judged against their own baseline. - **research_video** (account) — Pull live data for a video that is not yet in the database, including its full transcript and hook, and add it to the corpus. - **search_trending_videos** (public) — Search Imagine Films' social insights database for high-performing short-form videos. - **detail_software** (account) — What Maxwell knows about a product's software — the product map, and each surface with its purpose, copy and design tokens. - **issue_ci_token** (account) — Connect a repository, so every push keeps Maxwell current. - **make_software_clip** (account) — Make a clip about one of the product's screens, from what Maxwell already knows about it. - **understand_software** (account) — Deposit what a product's screens are, so films can be made about them. - **apply_bindings** (account) — Work out what every binding means right now and commit it as one new version — elements retimed to their moments, and placed against their subjects. - **bind_element** (account) — Say what an element in the film is ABOUT, rather than where it happens to sit. - **check_element_approval_status** (account) — Before planning or editing, find out which of a film's elements a person has actually approved. - **describe_footage** (account) — What is known about the footage in a composition — which clips have been analysed, by what, and what was found. - **edit_video_composition** (account) — Change a video composition. - **evaluate_composition** (account) — Check a film before handing it back: that every relationship it claims still resolves, that nothing anchored has walked out of frame, that nothing starts after the film ends, and whether it leans on footage nobody has analysed. - **get_render** (account) — Where a render has got to. - **list_element_bindings** (account) — Every relationship this composition claims, and to what. - **list_video_composition_versions** (account) — The history of a video composition — every change, who made it, and how much it changed. - **list_video_compositions** (account) — List the video compositions on this account, most recently edited first. - **query_footage** (account) — Find things inside the footage: people and objects that move ('subject'), spoken words ('word'), musical beats ('beat'), shot changes ('shot'), or notable moments ('moment'). - **read_evaluation** (account) — The most recent verdict on a composition, with every finding. - **read_pairing_document** (account) — The collaboration so far, oldest first, so it reads as a conversation. - **read_screening** (account) — What a screening saw, moment by moment — every frame that was looked at, what was on screen, and anything wrong with it. - **read_video_composition** (account) — Read one video composition: its shape, and every element on its timeline with the times it occupies. - **reconcile_tasks** (account) — Check a project's task list against what has actually been made in it — the films and whether they have rendered, the master sheets and their scene counts, the museboards, the elements cast — and propose what should change: work the material shows is finished, two tasks that say the same thing, a task whose prerequisite does not exist, work the film obviously needs that nobody has written down. - **render_video_composition** (account) — Render a composition to an mp4. - **request_change** (account) — Ask for a change in your own words. - **restore_video_composition_version** (account) — Bring an earlier version of a composition back. - **screen_video_composition** (account) — Have Maxwell WATCH the whole film, start to finish, and write down what is on screen. - **unbind_element** (account) — Take a relationship off. - **watch_video_composition** (account) — A link that plays this film in a browser, for someone with no account here — hand this to a client rather than making them wait for a file. - **write_pairing_note** (account) — Add to the record of this collaboration. - **answer_journey_questions** (account) — Give the Plan the client's answers to the questions Maxwell could not answer itself (which feature, which version, is it released…), keyed by each question's code as read_video_journey shows it. - **choose_concept_route** (account) — The most important checkpoint: the client picks the idea. - **decide_journey_checkpoint** (account) — Record the client's decision at a checkpoint: 'approved' (Maxwell starts the next stage) or 'revise' with their note (Maxwell redrafts this stage from it, and everything after it is set aside). - **read_video_journey** (account) — Read one journey: which stage it is at, each stage's status (working, awaiting_approval, approved…), the drafts so far (Brief, Plan with its open questions, the concept routes with scores and reasons, beats with what the viewer should understand/perceive/feel, elements, look and sound, the film and its quality record), every checkpoint decided, and the jobs running. - **render_journey_slots** (account) — Render the film's shots once Look & sound is approved. - **start_video_journey** (account) — Start a pre-production journey from the client's one sentence — who the film is for and what it should do. - **find_the_gap** (account) — Measure a film against what it was asked to be. - **list_documents** (account) — What this account has kept — names, kinds and lengths, without the words. - **make_composition_from_film** (account) — Lay a film you generated on a timeline, so it becomes something you can watch, read in full, measure against a brief and edit. - **plan_to_close_the_gap** (account) — Turn a gap into something somebody can act on: for each fault, the cheapest route that can actually close it — an edit to the composition, a Seedance `video_edit`, a `video_extension`, a full re-render, or nothing, because some faults have no route and saying so beats paying to find out. - **read_document** (account) — One kept document, with its words. - **read_film_in_full** (account) — Read a film the way somebody watching it would, in three passes, and keep what each one says. - **read_full_report** (account) — Where a full reading has got to, and what one pass said. - **refine_prompt** (account) — Take a prompt through the loop until it is clean: check, read, revise, again. - **render_film** (account) — Generate a film from a prompt at a chosen resolution. - **render_options** (account) — What a render would cost at each resolution, in credits, before anything is spent. - **review_prompt** (account) — Read a generation prompt the way a creative director does, before anything is generated. Authorization for the account tier is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. They are not served over MCP — a tool that sets an aspect ratio on a page nobody is looking at does nothing. ## Looks - **commerce** — product films, sized for every feed, in one pass - **training** — one script, every language, every one of your people - **property** — walk a buyer through the house before it is furnished A look is a lighting setup, not a filter: key position, stock contrast, grain, halation and atmospheric density all change together. ## Tools ### compose(prompt: string, references?: number) Generate a film from a written description. ### attach_reference(kind?: still|clip|product|floorplan) Attach a still or clip to steer subject, product or location identity. ### set_model(model: aperture-2|aperture-2-turbo|longform-30s) Choose the generation model. ### set_aspect_ratio(aspect: 16:9|9:16|1:1|2.39:1) Set the output frame shape. ### set_duration(duration: 4s|8s|15s|30s) Set the output length. ### set_look(look: commerce|training|property) Apply a colour science. Changes lighting and stock response, not the subject. ### toggle_audio() Hear one example film. Only one plays sound at a time. ### browse_examples(look?: commerce|training|property, limit?: number) List example films for a given look. ### open_command_palette() Open the command surface. Identical schema to this manifest. ## Notes The insights database covers TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Coverage changes, so call list_insight_coverage rather than assuming — it reports the platforms held, how fresh the newest capture is, and anything not yet covered, plainly, rather than returning an empty list that reads as "nothing is trending". Generation returns a queued request you poll with get_generation. Whether a real model is attached depends on the deployment's provider configuration — a run that resolves to sample media says so in its own status rather than pretending.
